Terms of service

These terms govern your use of houseofaal.com and your purchases from House of Aal — the House. By placing an order you accept them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to us through our contact page before you order.

Our pieces

Every House of Aal piece is made by hand. Small variances in texture, stone character, and finish are part of a handcrafted object and are not faults. We take care that photography, dimensions, and materials are described accurately; screens may render colour a little differently.

Orders

An order placed through the store is an offer to purchase; it is accepted when we confirm dispatch. In the rare case of a listing error, or where we cannot verify an order, we may decline it — any payment already taken is then refunded in full and without delay.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the store's currency and include VAT where applicable. Payment is collected by our payment providers at the time of order; the House does not see or hold your card details.

Bespoke and engraved pieces

A commission begins only after we have confirmed its design, price, and timeline with you. A piece made to your commission, or engraved with your words, cannot be returned; where the size is not right, it may be exchanged for resizing, as set out in our refund policy.

Delivery and returns

Delivery is governed by our shipping policy, and returns by our refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

Lifetime care

Every piece is accompanied by the House's lifetime care — professional cleaning, polishing, prong checks, and the first resize, for as long as you own the piece, as set out in full in our lifetime care policy, which forms part of these terms. To arrange care, message the House on WhatsApp or write to us through our contact page. Lifetime care covers the piece as we made it; it does not extend to loss, theft, or alteration by another workshop.

Our work and marks

The designs, imagery, and words of the House — including its name, its marks, and its motifs — belong to it. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written consent.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants you and does not allow to be limited. Beyond what the law requires, the House's liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the price paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and any dispute belongs to its courts.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published here with its date. This version was published on 9 July 2026.
